Affordable, fun lessons for singles and couples of all ages

Private lessons offer the student the opportunity to progress along a personalized path to his or her goal. They are the perfect choice for many situations:

• couples who want to prepare a special dance for their wedding
• students who desire extra work on dance technique or a review of group class material
• students whose schedules make it impossible to attend weekly group classes
• students who prefer the private class setting to the group class setting

Private lessons are $45 per 45-minute session for one person or one couple. Investing in a package of five or more lessons qualifies the student for a discounted rate. Ask for details.

Additional bonus - For every private lesson that you take, you are invited to dance in the studio the following Friday night at our practice party for FREE.

The Queen City Ballroom offers group classes in ballroom, swing, and Latin dance. Some of these classes are sponsored by New Hampshire Community Technical College at Manchester (NHCTC), and others are offered directly through the studio. All classes are held on site at the Queen City Ballroom.

Come and see what partner dancing is like...

Every Thursday at 7:00 p.m and Sunday at 5:15 p.m.

These classes are designed for the novice who may not be able to commit to a weekly schedule, or the student who would like to experience a class (or several classes) before registering for a four-week semester.

The student who attends multiple weeks of beginner sampler classes will be exposed to the most popular partner dances. This enables the student to determine his/her area of interest and therefore assists in determining placement in the beginner level 1 classes (see below).

These classes are held at the studio, but sponsored by New Hampshire Community Technical College (or CTC) in Manchester. Registration is handled by the college, and can be completed by phone if registering using a credit card.

• Each class meets once a week for 45 minutes.
• All classes are $32 per person for 4 weeks.

The four-week semesters allow the student to focus on one dance at a time. After taking level one of any dance, the student has the option of continuing with level two and three of that dance, or broadening his/her approach and studying level one of another dance. The student who desires a fast-paced approach may enroll in multiple dances at a time as long as the levels of any given dance are taken in order.

Please be present 15 minutes before the start of class in order to register if you have not done so prior to the beginning of the first day of class.

Queen City Ballroom’s Early Summer Ballroom Dance Program

For Teens Ages 11 – 19

Learn how to ballroom and Latin dance while having a great time with others!!

• Every Sunday, 5:00 - 6:00 PM
• At Queen City Ballroom in Manchester
• 1st Session - May 4 – 25, 2008

New monthly session start dates are May 4, June 1, and July 6. A different dance will be focused on each month.

Classes are FREE, however, a commitment to regular attendance is required. Participants of the Early Summer Ballroom Dance Program may opt to enroll in the Late Summer Dance Performance Program beginning in August.

The Late Summer Dance Performance Program will be held throughout August, September and October. The Performance Program consists of weekly dance classes, learning a choreographed routine, and participating in September and October showcases. Regular group class pricing will apply.
